Pokemon Rose Gold is a brand-new NDS ROM hack that has been in development for a very long time. On December 05, 2025, the first official demo finally dropped, giving players their first taste of the reimagined adventure.
The game introduces a fresh region known as the TOHJO Region, a special area centered around the iconic Mount Moon, reworked with new locations, characters, and surprises. You can only play as Red or Leaf, the legendary protagonists of the original Kanto generation, making the nostalgia hit even stronger.
The story follows the events of FireRed and LeafGreen several years later, where Red or Leaf has been training in the Tohjo Region with their long-time partners. This short but exciting journey spans about 1.5 to 2 hours of gameplay, focusing on tight progression, battles, and exploration.
